What are Campus Tours?
Campus Tours are the best way to find your way around UNSW, which could be important for knowing where your classrooms are, campus facilities, or simply finding your way from point A to point B.
In a campus tour, you’ll be led by student volunteers who know UNSW’s buildings, as well as the ins and outs of campus, like go-to study spaces and their recommended food spots. Your tour guides are also there to answer any questions you have about anything university related. Another great way to meet new students is with the tour group you’ll be guided alongside, who are also ready to learn their way around campus.
Types of Tours
We have three different types of tours depending on what information you’re looking for. For all tour types, you can receive a free O-Week Tour Bag from our friendly volunteers. On our general campus tours, there will be a free BBQ at the end of tour.
General Campus Tour: A tour of all of UNSW where you’ll be able to meet new people and potential friends, highlighting important facts about its buildings and facilities.
Faculty Tour: A tour of all faculty relevant buildings, including offices, facilities and specific spaces, held after the relevant faculty’s welcome. Please refer to your relevant school welcome information for more information about faculty tours.
Personalised Tour: Led by a one student tour guide, this is a shorter tour type that offers the chance to ask questions and be guided to specific locations of your choice, by yourself or in a smaller group.
