Win $1000 for designing a vending machine!
To celebrate the creativity of UNSW students, we are inviting budding designers to design the exterior of a vending machines. You can go as bold, vibrant and striking as you like to cover the face of the machine and then floor in front of it. The design should capture the spirit of the theme 'You are what you eat' as the food we choose to eat and drink affects our mental and physical health. The winning design will be displayed on vending machines that adhere to the NSW Health framework for healthy vending.
The winner will be awarded $1000 and supported by Arc Marketing in bringing their idea to life.
Judging criteria
- Creativity and originality of design.
- Adherence to theme "You are what you eat".
- Desirability in the context of UNSW vending machines.
Timeline
MON 26 APR: Entries open and promotion commences
FRI 11 JUN: Entries close 5PM
MON 14 JUN: Judging commences
MON 21 JUN: Winner notified, unsuccessful entrants notified, prize money awarded and assets supplied to Arc Marketing for artworking
MON 5 JUL: Assets approved by artist
MON 12 JUL: Assets supplied to printer
MON 19 JUL: Printing & installation commences
MON 13 SEP: Designed machine displayed
Submissions will be in the form of a hyperlink to work and should include a mock-up of design on a campus vending machine.
