It's hard not to wax lyrical about the pure experience of riding a bare-bones single-speed bike. Some say it's a bike stripped down to its most fundamental components. In any case, it's extremely rugged, robust and maintainable.

For the uninitiated, fixed-gear drivetrains can be quite daunting, so we've put this bike in its single-speed configuration. This will allow you to coast downhill with the pedals disconnected from the motion of the back wheel. We can change that pretty quickly though but be warned... a fixie must hereafter be tamed.
