What is the UNSW Queer Collective?
The UNSW Queer Collective is a student-led organisation that aims to provide comprehensive queer community and connect LGBTQIA+ identifying, curious and questioning students across year levels, degrees and campuses. The collective meets weekly and hosts a wide range of events and activities throughout the year, providing social, educational and activist opportunities so that all members can engage in the community as they see fit.
Check out our website for all information relating to upcoming events, collective meeting times and access to the queer space. Furthermore, If you would like to join the Collective, gain access to the Queer Space or be added to our autonomous secret Facebook group & Discord Server (only other members of the group will be able to see you are in the group) fill out this form. This group is where most information and updates are posted.
Your Queer Officers for 2023 are Rebecca (she/her) and Pepsi (they/them). If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please don't hesitate to email us at queer.officer@arc.unsw.edu.au
The UNSW Queer Collective acknowledges that sovereignty was never ceded and we recognise all our activities and actions are done on Gadigal land of the Eora Nation, and pay our respect to elders past, present and future - extending that to Indigenous queer students on campus.
