About the SRC

The SRC is your advocacy body on campus. The SRC’s role is to represent students in policy changes, manage the collectives, direct students to resources and initiate projects to improve student life.

The SRC is comprised of a President, General Secretary, Office Bearers and Councillors. Each Office Bearer has a corresponding collective that they are responsible for managing. It is their job to advocate for their collectives' needs and initiate projects that address their needs. You can find them here.

What does the SRC do:

  • Direct you to the appropriate support for your issues

  • Liaise with the university to improve your experience

  • Circulate resources to support your university journey

  • Manage the autonomous safe spaces and collectives on campus

  • Engage in large-scale activism campaigns and protests

  • Implement initiatives to make the university safer, more accessible and more equitable
