History and Mission
The Postgraduate Council (PGC) was established by the Arc Board in 2011 to improve representation and community for postgraduate students at UNSW. Run by students for students, the Council consists of elected Officers and Committee Liaisons who chair and appoint members to a Research Committee, Coursework Committee, International Student Engagement Committee, and an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. Together, these students uphold the core PGC mission of facilitating a positive postgraduate experience in areas of advocacy, engagement, and support.
