Pac 7 – Tennis
Compete for #TeamUNSW in the newest inter-varsity competition, the Pac 7 - Tennis. Universities from across three states will compete to determine the ultimate Tennis champion. Universities include:
· Bond University
· Melbourne University
· Monash University
· RMIT
· Sydney University
· University of New South Wales
· University of Technology, Sydney
Team UNSW are hoping to send two teams (male and female) to compete in this competition throughout March 2020. Trials for potential UNSW competitors are being held on SAT 22 FEB at Centennial Parkland Tennis Centre from 3PM-6PM. Register at https://bit.ly/39TdRAL to be able to trial.
A team will be made up of four (4) athlete/students from a squad of a maximum of eight (8) athlete/students. Each player will be seeded, and each tie will consist of two doubles matches and four singles matches. Doubles will be the best of two (2) sets and singles will be the best of three (3).
There will be two costings for individual athlete/students
- $400 for those students that will be travelling and/or staying overnight – this will cover flights, accommodation, uniform and tournament enter
- $75 for those students who will not travel – this will cover uniforms and tournament entry
