In the darkness and coldness all around,
By which everything was bound,
A cosmic spark, the birth of the Sun,
Was all it took to make lifelessness shun.
A shiny dot in the distance is all it might be,
But oh! There is so much more to see.
A celestial creation, to make emptiness fade,
And combat the widespread shade.
Eight planets, over a hundred moons, all held together by just one star,
A powerful system known to create the only known life so far.
And thus, the small ball of fire in the vast emptiness,
Stole the limelight with unimaginable greatness.
Any source of heat or light,
Can never compare to something so bright.
A majestic body in the universe,
That is simply impossible to describe in a verse.
You may forget the shimmer but not the warm caress,
as that indeed is nature's greatness.
A little warmth can go a long way,
Not just today but every day.
