Welcome back! This second post will help you convert your units of measurement with ease the next time you are cooking or baking and need to know how many grams are in a litre or how many kilos are in a cup! Unitary conversions in cooking can be frustrating, especially since substances are not always uniform in terms of their structures. For example, water and flour do not have the same structure and therefore are different in their weight properties. Most students don't tend to realise this, meaning that this edition of Food Talk will hopefully teach you a thing or two about unitary conversions in cooking. It’s always super useful and convenient to know where to look for the most unconventional conversions!
