WHAT IS CULTURE CAFE

Here at Culture Cafe, we provide ALL students with a platform to meet new people, make new friends and learn about cultures from around the world! Whether you’re already from Sydney, an international student or it’s your term abroad, everyone is welcome to our Culture Café sessions.

Join us every Thursday of the term from 4-6 pm to explore cultures through trivia, traditional games, crafts and food.

We also hold massive flagship events throughout the year, so keep an eye out for new events on the horizon.

Why get involved?

  • Have Some Fun: get celebrated and have fun with exclusive opportunities for Arc Volunteers within and outside of your time volunteering.

You don't need to have any experience just a passion to make a difference! 

Volunteers:

Volunteers attend weekly sessions, connect students together and keep the vibes high! 

  • Time Commitment: 2-3 hrs/week during term   
  • Training: Saturday February 22, 2025, 10-5PM
  • Applications close 11:59pm Sunday February 16, 2025 

Senior Volunteers:

Senior Volunteers organise weekly sessions, lead activities and volunteers, and make sure everything is running smoothly!

  • Time Commitment: 4 hrs/week during term   
  • Training: Friday January 31, 2025, 12-5PM
  • Applications close 11:59pm Sunday January 19, 2025

Week 8: Arab Countries

Watch O Shane 2 turn into an Arabic paradise with the Arab Society✨

Week 9: Diwali

End the year with a blast at the Roundhouse with Culture Cafe x Indian Society's largest event: Diwali🪔
