Mardi Gras Viewing Party

Every year Mardi Gras transforms Sydney into a one-night queertopia- and you're invited to celebrate it with us!

Arc and UNSW are teaming up to host a VIEWING PARTY on our big screen, live streaming the parade just 10 minutes walk from all the main Oxford Street festivities! You'll be able to sit back and relax in the best seats in the house at UNSW Art & Design in Paddington. This event gives you the option to wander down Parade-side in person, check out the club scene along Oxford Street, and then come back to party as you please!

UNSW students and staff are encouraged to dress up and join us for a drink, glitter station, and live entertainment. Then, beat the crowds by watching the parade on our big screen- close enough to the festivities to enjoy the energy of the night, but far enough away for some breathing room. Come as you are and stay for as long as you like.

There will be a shuttle bus available between UNSW Kensington and UNSW Paddington (as driving and parking can be tricky) - more info to come.

• WHEN: SAT 1 MAR
• TIME: 6-10PM (but wander in and out as you like)
• TICKETS: $5 student / $10 staff / $15 everyone else
• ACCESSIBILITY: A visual story for UNSW Art & Design can be accessed online. An accessibility map and further accessibility information are also available. Please also let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your event experience more accessible and we will be able to assist you!
