What happens at a Bike-ology workshop?

Drop by to get your bike serviced (bookings required) or to learn how to fix it yourself! Our friendly volunteers can help with quick repairs, tune-ups, or bigger bike projects — all using second-hand and new parts at cost price. No experience required!

Workshop Times

  • Every Monday and Friday, 12-2pm (Weeks 1-10, excluding Flex Week)
  • MCIC MakerSpace - Level G, Hilmer Building (E10) by Alumni Lawn

Important: Workshop Safety Badge

Since we're based at the MCIC MakerSpace, anyone entering the space needs to the complete the Workshop Safety Badge - run by the MakerSpace team. This is required if you are wanting to participate in our workshops!

Complete your Workshop Safety Badge here! If you have any questions please reach out to mcic@unsw.edu.au

If you just want a quick repair and don’t plan to enter the Makerspace, no worries — wait outside and our team will help you out.

MCIC Etiquette

  • Wait outside the entrance until a volunteer attends to you
  • Please don't block doorways or walkways
  • Be mindful of the limited space inside the MakerSpace
  • Only enter the space if you've completed your Workshop Safety Badge
