Hosting Your Own IGM

So you've decided to run your own Inaugural General Meeting. 

Reminder that it is significantly faster and easier to apply for Fast-Tracked Affiliation.

During Fast-Tracked Affiliations, Arc Clubs will book a suitable space for your meeting, chair the IGM and ensure that all documents are submitted correctly. This minimises the chance of error and means your team can focus on the fun stuff, faster. You can apply for Fast-Tracked Affiliation here 🔗

Before Your IGM

Make a booking request 7 business days in advance for a CATS Room

5. Email your IGM Notice to Arc

The notice must (at minimum) include the time, date, location, election procedure and basic agenda for the meeting.

Check in all attendees

Ensure you meet quorum of at least 5 Arc Members and record their details

How to Submit Documents - Step by Step

Use our handy submission checklist to ensure you’ve got all the documents and information you need HERE 🔗

Then when you have all your details, delegate one member of the newly elected Executive team to login to the Arc Membership Portal HERE 🔗

Click on the tab “Clubs”

Scroll down and click on the link “Start a new club”

Complete the fields, upload your document and submit your New Club Affiliation form!

We'll process your submission within approximately 14 days. 

During Term 3 there will be delays to New Clubs Affiliation as we process the reaffiliation of all existing Clubs.
