Third meeting on 12 May 2023
What ARC did in last two weeks:
Movie night, tea session, meeting with vanessa, website update, arc Canberra newsletter, sports coordinators (Table tennis and badminton)
Incoming tasks for ARC
1. Constitution change (Tiger will get it done by this month)
2. Website (Kurtis is in charge, Raj, Saina, Sajjaad please send the pics and bio to Kurtisas soon as possible. Kurtis would get the certificate, gift or trophy for ARC Champion award. Recent ARC Champion applicant is Shiyao Zhu. Please get in touch, ask the pic and content from him. We need to promote him on website, social media and also newsletter. We would have one champion award in every term, in total is 3 awards)
3.Events:
Regular events (Every event would require before and after social media and newsletter update. People who in charge of the events will create the content and take pics)
Tea session (Saleen and Sajjaad is in charge, every time they would be subsidized with 10 bucks for the petrol)
Movie night (Saina will be in charge, Raj will take over when Saina is going back. We just need to create the Eventbrite link every time and call Dendy’s by Tuesday to confirm the numbers. Saina may ask Raj if you are not sure about the process)
Three incoming activities:
Trivia night next week (Sajjad is in charge, please send the event registration link and content to Public relations channel by Tuesday 16 May 12pm. So Mahmuda will send the newsletter in afternoon Tuesday)
Bowling (27 May Saturday), Tiger and Cayden is in charge. They would create the link and send out the information by Tuesday 16 May 12pm.
Cocktail night for Undergraduate, 24 June. Teresa and Sajjad is in charge.
One big event in End of July Snow Mountain Tour (Details to be decided)
4. We need to figure out the ARC membership details (Raj is in charge, Tiger will support)
5. ARC merchandize items like cups, pens etc . We have two choices one is through ARC Sydney and another one is through ARC Canberra previous partner. The next batch of students are coming on 13 June. If we could have some ARC products. It would be great. (Saleen will be in charge, Raj will support)
6. We need to go through all previous ARC documents to see which ones are relevant and could be used for later purpose (Raj will have a look at ARC teams group and Tiger will go through president drive)
7. We also plan to have a first general committee gathering before Saina leaves. We could do next weekend if possible. Inviting Vanessa, sports coordinators, public relation manager, events manager and social media manager (Saina would deal with the place booking)
