Hey! Stop what you're doing! A 27hr straight Studio Ghibli marathon is happening on SBS world movies!
All day and night Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7thSBS digital channel 32 will be playing all the Studio Ghibli Classics from Hayao Miyazaki’s early work of Laputa: Castle in the Sky to critically acclaimed pop-culture icon Spirited Away.
For those who know Studio Ghibli, the excitement is already there. Those who are yet to be plunged into the mystical world that is brought into fruition by the likes of Miyazaki and his team, have something to get excited about. The masterful precision of Ghibli in harnessing true human emotion, wrapped up in fantasy of the highest calibre in fiction is something to gawk at and indeed celebrate.
