GREAT MORNING CHOCOLATE PROTEIN SHAKE RECIPE

Here’s a delicious protein shake recipe that will wow your taste buds. 

It is perfect for your pre/after workout session and could equally serve as a quick morning breakfast if you are running late or need to be somewhere early. The shake is also filling, containing ingredients to keep you energised till lunch and throughout the day.

A list of ingredients along with the purchase price of each ingredient is included to calculate an approximate price and the caloric count of each protein shake for your convenience as well.

METHOD

1. Add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds, 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder, 1 sliced banana (frozen for a cooler shake), 125ml of milk, 1/4 sachet of oats and 1 tablespoon of plain yoghurt into a blender.

2. Blend all ingredients for approx. 1-2 minutes or until a drinkable consistency.

3. Serve!
