About the Exhibition:
People seek contact and avoid unknown touch, depending on whether they are in a comfortable environment or not. In unfamiliar spaces, we stick to boundaries before exposing ourselves in the centre. We are drawn to familiar colours and shapes, and use them to make connections, tell stories and maintain a sense of safety.
This exhibition uses saturated colour and curious shapes to draw people around the room. It investigates points of tension within the gallery’s architecture and explores the infinite potential of human movement.
