Statement from Arc Board in relation to Arc's ethical investments:

The purpose of Arc is to create the best student experience. We take great pride in achieving this through a range of opportunities and services that reflect the needs of all current UNSW students. 

In line with our conservative approach to financial stewardship, Arc's investments are carefully managed, and we do not hold equity positions within our portfolio. As a not-for-profit organisation, Arc engages the expertise of an independent investment advisor, to protect and maximise returns to student life in line with our financial goals, risk appetite and Investment Policy. Arc’s Investment Policy has been in place since 2021 and Arc does not hold any investments in companies involved in the "production or supply of armaments".

As part of our ongoing commitment to reflect the values of our UNSW students, we regularly review our Investment Policy and Investment Parameters. We take feedback from our members seriously and will consider members’ requests for additional financial disclosures as part of our annual reporting processes.
