A message from the president
I would like to thank all who were involved in Postgrad Fest on a fantastic week. It was simply wonderful to meet so many postgrad students from across our wide network to meet, learn, and hear about all things academic, professional, and social within university life.

Apart from our events, the PGC continues its efforts to advocate for the voice of the postgraduate student, including high level talks and advocacy for increasing RTP scholarships, and recently, advocating for a growth in the number of mental health clinicians operating within UNSW's mental health service provision.

The Postgraduate Council is proud to be aligning and promoting the mission and ideal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, affectionately termed the 'Global Goals'. The 17 aspirational objectives seek to create a better fairer and more sustainable world for all.

If you aren't already, I certainly encourage you to follow us across our socials. And on a fun note, save the date for our iconic Postgraduate cruise on 15th October.

Kindest regards,
Josh

📚 Coursework
A series of events were held across campus throughout Stress-less Week, Monday 18th to Thursday 21st July. The Coursework office hosted a Coffee and Chat event at the Postgraduate Lounge on Tuesday 19th July, welcoming postgrads in a casual and relaxed environment. Postgrads were able to kick back and relax, meeting new friends while sharing stories and de-stressing.
🌏 International
The International and Coursework offices of the Postgraduate Council, in partnership with Hong Kong Australia Business Association, put together a career development workshop specially designed for the international postgraduate students on 4th of July. Special thanks to our two keynote speakers Kaley and Steven who brought us wonderful presentations and workshops.

We can provide you with free advice on the design of your study - preferably from the beginning! No matter what form your study takes, we can help you develop an effective design, which might save you time and money, or maximise the information you obtain from the resources you have at your disposal. We can also give you general direction on how to analyse your results. It is much more beneficial to talk to us from the start!
