Strategy brought to life in the round
In May 2019, the Roundhouse was home to 100 participants from one of Australia’s leading online fashion and sports retailers – THE ICONIC for Leading with the Playbook, an internal strategy event.
Participants took part in design thinking workshops, creative sessions and THE ICONIC’s unique take on speed dating focussing on THE ICONIC’S Playbook and strategy. The event also included an address from the company’s new CEO Erica Berchtold.
For THE ICONIC, it was important to select a venue that shared its values for innovation and drive for excellence. Flexible and quick turnover times, close collaboration with venue staff, and an aesthetically beautiful space were all key in ensuring that participants left the event feeling energised and inspired. The event called for a versatile venue with space to host whole group sessions, masterclasses and presentations, with transitions between each needing to be achieved quickly and easily.
