Does calculating your gross income make you feel gross? The downside of having a job and earning $weet $weet moneyz is having to do your tax each year.
Tax Help is a free and confidential service to help you complete your tax return. Tax Help volunteers can also help you:
- create a myGov account
- lodge an amendment to your tax return
- claim a refund of franking credits
- tell the ATO if you don't need to lodge a tax return.
Run by Arc student volunteers, the Tax Help team are not accountants, but are trained by the Australian Taxation Office and must undergo accreditation to become Tax Help volunteers.
Tax Help is available for anyone who earned $60,000 or less from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024. Tax Help is not available for business income (that means anyone with an ABN or a rental property).
Please check eligibility here before making an appointment. Please note appointments are face-to-face only.
Tax Help is not a substitute for accounting services and volunteers cannot give advice about your tax matters.
